New Elementary School

Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It

Fell Charter School decided to construct a new elementary school building that would support their mission of providing a classical, well-rounded education to students in a safe academic environment. BDA worked with school leadership through a detailed planning process which allowed the project scope and budget to be fully developed. Once finalized, this information allowed administration to secure the funding required for the project and move forward with the design and construction process. The two-story facility included ten classrooms, a cafeteria, administration area and supporting spaces, all designed to reflect the school’s more personalized, “hands-on” approach to learning. With an economical eye toward long term sustainability, BDA selected durable interior finishes in bright colors and patterns to create an aesthetically pleasing learning facility. Close and careful management of the project’s design and construction allowed it to finish 15% under the initial budget, allowing school leadership to make additional improvements to facilities not originally included in the project scope.
